advocate for excellence in science education by promoting professionalism, influencing
policy, and enhancing learning.

Aaron
Spurr is an Instructor of Teaching and Science Education at Malcolm
Price Laboratory School at UNI in Cedar Falls. He currently
teaches Earth
Science, Astronomy, Photography, and a UNI methods course,
Current Technologies in Science Teaching. He has also taught
physics, physical science, and general science. Before teaching,
Aaron spent several years as the Planetarium Director of the Grout
Museum of History and Science in Waterloo.
Aaron is a Nationally Board
Certified teacher in the area of Adolescent/Young Adulthood
Science.
Aaron's hobbies include amateur radio,
photography, bicycling, quilting, and homebrewing.
