Complete this online presentation proposal form if you would like to make a presentation at the Iowa Science Teaching Section Fall Conference on Friday, October 8, 2010 at the Scheman Building on the ISU Campus in Ames.

This proposal is submitted with the understanding that:

• This presentation proposal form is for non-commercial presentations only. If you wish to give a commercial presentation, please contact the Fall Conference Exhibits Coordinator, Barb Jacobsen, at .
• All presenters MUST REGISTER for the conference and will be required to pay a REDUCED REGISTRATION FEE when the Final Program information is confirmed late in the summer. Failure to register for the conference by the presenter registration date will result in your presentation being removed from the final program. The deadline for presenters to register will be included in the notice confirming that your presentation has been accepted.
• All presenters will conform to typical safety guidelines.
• The reduced registration fee will be available to no more than TWO presenters listed for a session.
• The first presenter listed will be considered the PRIMARY PRESENTER and communications regarding this proposal will be sent to that person only.

The ISTS Fall Conference emphasizes the presentation of materials which incorporate the Iowa Science Core Curriculum framework of science concepts and skills. It is hoped that the focus of these presentations will help teachers be more aware of and effectively use research-based, best-practice instructional and assessment strategies which will help students become more scientifically literate.
