Academy of Science
The mission of the Iowa Science Teachers Section of the Iowa Academy of Science is to advocate for excellence in science education by promoting professionalism, influencing policy, and enhancing learning.
The mission of the Iowa Academy of Science is to further scientific research and its dissemination, education in the sciences, public understanding of science, and recognition of excellence in these endeavors.
Starting January 2006, the Iowa Science Teachers Journal will only be available to members of the Iowa Academy of Science.
As our name implies, we are a section of the Iowa Academy of Science, so you'll really be joining the Iowa Academy of Science and designating as your section of choice Chemical Education, Earth Science Teaching, Elementary Science Teaching, or Science Teaching. You can choose to join up to four different sections with your membership to the Iowa Academy of Science.
Membership rates:
Professional: $50.00
New members receive a $10 discount on the $60
annual membership.
Full-time student: $30.00
